Review: Vive Voom at PiRats

It is really hard to explain what is really going on here. I’m at a Vive Voom event at Pirats Art Galleries, suspended in air with about twenty others, enveloped in a cylinder of sorts. The cylinder depicts a seemingly never ending apartment complex and is turning fairly rapidly counterclockwise. As we are hanging here there are suddenly clusters of white heads placed on the heads of certain people, randomly it seems. Then after a little while green blob, there is really no other way to describe it, fills part of the space. The green stuff is eventually replaced by some figures, amongst them two large fetus-like shapes. Then babies with blue spotlights coming out of their foreheads appear and suddenly the apartment complex is gone. The music is intense. A rather surreal but, captivating experience. The second part will take place in one week.

I usually don´t want to miss any of Vive Voom’s performances.. I´ll try to catch the one next week.
I’ll try to be there next week too!
i have made a set of photos of the event on Flickr.
